Community partners in mental health and education who desire Training in the treatment of TS & associated disorders will also find our virtual Toolbox useful.

There are certain tools – ingredients – which are common to all forms of any particular evidence-based treatment. In this section of our site, the ingredients necessary for the effective psychotherapeutic treatment of various leaky brakes are presented in streaming video format.

Introduction

Videos within each series are ordered chronologically and assume knowledge of ones prior to it, so are best viewed in order of presentation.
Links to associated materials can be found beneath each relevant ingredient.
Simply watching some videos and clicking on some links isn't treatment! For virtual treatment to work, these ingredients must be practiced and your progress should be monitored by a clinician.

RAD refers to a very limited set of circumstances in which children are thought to not have the opportunity to develop any specific attachment to a caregiver. Onset of the problems must begin before age five and cannot be due to another mental health or developmental problem, and the child must have reached a developmental age of at least 9 months old. Children with RAD cannot or do not seek or respond to any comfort, even when very distressed or hurt.
